As the Executive Editor of Playboy, I led the editorial strategy, production, and roll-out of Playboy's Spring 2019 issue, which explored free speech as "something delicate, potentially even endangered, that must be continually fought for and protected" across 234 pages. This issue's subjects represented the pulse of national conversations about representation, truthiness, artistic expression, and censorship. Lizzo, Seth Abramson, Travis Scott, Revered William J. Barber III, David Harbor, Michelle Wolf and Lynsey Addario headlined this issue, which received a 2020 Eddie nomination for Best Consumer Magazine. The Spring 2019 launched via an Instagram campaign.
